At ThyCook, we put care into creating our books and ebooks. Please read the following policy before placing your order.
1. Printed Books
We offer a one-time exchange for unused printed books purchased at full price, provided you contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Books returned under this voluntary exchange policy must be in their original condition, with no writing, stains, damage or missing pages. Please provide your receipt or order confirmation.
For change-of-mind exchanges, you are responsible for return postage and any delivery costs for the replacement. Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Please contact us before returning your book. Pack it securely and use a tracked courier service. We aim to process voluntary exchanges within 1–3 weeks of receiving the returned book.
These conditions do not limit your legal rights concerning faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods, or any statutory cancellation rights.
2. Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Books
If your book arrives damaged, you receive the wrong item, or an item is missing, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of delivery.
Include your order number, a description of the issue and, where relevant, photographs of the book and packaging. We will arrange an appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Where the problem is our responsibility, we will cover reasonable return and replacement delivery costs. The requested reporting period does not limit your statutory rights.
3. Ebooks & Digital Downloads
Please check the product description and file compatibility before purchasing.
Because ebooks are digital products, we do not offer voluntary change-of-mind refunds or exchanges once the file has been supplied.
Where applicable law requires consent for immediate digital delivery, we will ask you to expressly consent and acknowledge that your statutory cancellation right will end when supply begins. This policy alone does not constitute that consent.
If you receive the wrong file, a corrupted file or experience a download problem, please contact us with your order number and details of the issue. We will help restore access or provide a corrected file. Your legal rights to a remedy for faulty or misdescribed digital content remain unaffected.
4. Copyright — Printed Books & Ebooks
All rights reserved. Copyright in ThyCook’s original text, photographs, illustrations, cover artwork, page layouts and other protected design elements belongs to ThyCook or the respective rights holders.
Purchasing a printed book or ebook does not transfer copyright or grant permission to reproduce its protected content or design.
Except where permitted by law or with prior written permission, you must not copy, scan, screenshot, reproduce, translate, adapt, publish, upload or distribute any substantial part of these materials, or use them to create products for sale.
Ebooks are licensed for the purchaser’s personal use only. You must not share, forward, resell or publicly upload the digital file or its download link. Any printing must be for your own personal use.
You are welcome to cook from our recipes and share photographs of your own finished dishes. Please do not post scans, screenshots or copied pages from our publications.
Unauthorised copying or distribution of protected content or designs may constitute copyright infringement and may result in legal action, including claims for damages and other remedies available under applicable law.
